Ummm... What to say? Well, in case you haven't already noticed, I'm a TOTAL dork as well as a fangirl. I'm loud when provoked, energetic, and I'm a writing, Harry Potter, W.i.t.c.h. (it's an awesome cartoon!), and Disney enthusiast! I LOVE visual art and appreciate it immensely even though I can't draw to save my life.  I spend the majority of my spare time with my friends (when we actually get to plan hangouts), my family, and writing amusing, fluffy, romantic, or dramatic short stories about my original characters Alexander and Crystal Williams! I seriously love these two more than life itself. I know that sounds cheesy, but it's SO true. They make me so happy that I can't even begin to articulate it. We all go through phases where we like weird things or things that we wind up hating. Oh, wow! The premise does sound great. I can see Will being tricked into allying with Nerissa. Was she tricked into it with the intention of saving Matt? If so, I really can see Will being that vulnerable. She was pretty damn desperate to get Matt back and we did see Shagon trick her. Why the heck did it have to be deleted? I would've loved reading it. Grr, about the WxC fans still being the majority on FF.net. -sighs- I'm not even on the site that much, but when I do poke around I've noticed that... Much to my great displeasure.

They don't even try to consider it from our POV.
At least the WxM situation is kind of improving on FF.net. I'm know I'm doing my part. But we do have a long way to go, I must admit. -sighs- Did Helen mention to you what she was going to do in "Breathe the Rain"? Or did she not delve into the specifics? I sensed nothing with WxC as well. I'd say more, but I don't want to repeat myself. XD

Ah yes. The only yaoi I even tolerate these days is KuroFai and not everyone's sure if that's gonna happen. (*ahem* Despite CLAMP's much suggestive artworks *coughcough*) Yes, she was. I'm not sure who it was that misled her, Shagon or Nerissa. *shrug* Poor Susan is killed in that story though, at least I think so... I'd love looking at it in these days too. WxC and WxOC seem to rule the WITCH fandom (especially this one specific OC guy who I shall begrudgingly leave unnamed) even among other pairings not concerning Will. IrmaxMartin, TaraneexNigel, HayLinxEric, etc. hardly ever get their breath at life unless they're a side pairing in some CxC story or whatever. *sigh* I'm on there half the time, though not always for WITCH fiction. (In case you're interested, my current moods have been AT: ArtyxHolly and OP:ZoroxRobin. There may have been a bit HaruKyon in the mix. *shrug*)
And they write us all off as morons with no common sense. I always see that there's rather harsh criticism for us WxM luvers, yet everyone else is nodded off as okay. I think the reason not many WxM fans go on FFNet is because they're scared of being pounced on for their opinion. Some of these people have written scathing remarks about Matt and WxM in general; all of which are untrue. But still, it makes us feel like we're not wanted there a lot of the time, almost like they're trying to push us out. Kinda like cyber-segregation, if you will.
Same here. *Must get inspired for TD!* What Helen told me was something along the lines of: "Brace yourself, because around vignette #_ it'll be labeled WxC. You'll be disgusted, but I might as well tell the world why WxC sucks." I couldn't find the exact quote, so I just gave what I remembered.

Mmm...then again, I'm not the first to keep Sei, Tai, and Yatsu as males in fanfiction, so I don't think there's much for me to be guilty about. It just the ever constant war between "Femme!Starlights" and "Male!Lights" that has me rattled. I guess I should explain, 'cause this is gonna be crazy confusing. Naoko T. originally introduced the Starlights as background characters in her SM manga. They were *supposedly* women in disguise as men. However, in the manga-to-anime transition, the Lights were made men who transformed into women to protect their princess. (O.o I don't get it either, but that's mighty dedication.) As a sidenote, I might also say that they were made main characters as well. Now, many decided to go along with the manga and say, "They were girls here originally, so they must've been truly female." Now, I know the manga canon, and respect Naoko's wishes that all her sailor senshi remain women. However, the only media of SM canon I've been exposed to is the anime, so my views develop mostly from there. A Sailor Senshi, by that context then, is what you turn into, but it's not your true self. Seiya, Yaten, and Taiki become Sailors StarFighter, StarHealer, and StarMaker; however, that isn't necessarily definitive as their 'true form'. For example, I find Usagi Tsukino more 'true' than "Sailor Moon". Thus was my speculation that the Starlights are more 'true' as male. *sigh* Your eyes are probably like this: O.O at the moment, due to my unexpected explanation, but whatever. Meh, it's fanfiction anyway! And it's not like I'm altering their personalities in any way! Ahaha...*moralfag now turned off*... I don't think Naoko forgave the guys at TOEI, but perhaps she's forgiven her loyal fans who only see things differently? Oh God!!! This is how focused I can get on fictional characters, yet people are still convinced I'm a total brain-melted nut who knows absolutely nothing! (XP *realizes you didn't even ask about this*)

I think I know who the OC is. Let's play a little guessing game to see if I'm right. His name begins with a "c" and ends with an "e", right? It really is a shame that such craptastic ships dominate the fandom. I know! I feel so bad for the other couples. They rarely get any love in fanfic. =/ I'm kinda guilty of having CxC and TxN as side couples in my own WxM fics. But I really do love TxN. I'm just worried about how I'd portray them in a fic by themselves and I feel more comfortable placing them alongside WxM because I think it'd be easier to get them in character when they're together as a group and they're able to play off of each other - if that makes any sense. I definitely like the idea of double dates and TxN being with WxM and having fun together. It's probably because the couples share some similarities. It's great that you have so many fandoms. It's hard for me to balance two let alone multiple. =/ Major props to you for succeeding with that! ^^
Same. It seems like we're almost looked down upon. It's understandable that a lot of WxM fans are afraid of FF.net. They have reason to be afraid with the shitstorm that's going on there. I can sympathize with them because there are probably a lot of fanon shippers - well, the crazies anyway - that would pounce on them for their opinion and act like nutjobs. It's just so sad. =/

I didn't get too confused. I may have to reread that long paragraph, but I'm pretty sure I understand it. You're basically following along with the anime and don't think that Yaten, Taiki, and Seiya are in their truest forms when they transform into senshi. You think they're in their truest forms when they're humans. That does make sense after all. If you're staying true to the characters' personalities that's all that matters. And I'd probably be mad at TOEI if they'd done that to my characters, too, but I understand why Naoko isn't mad at her fans. Why would she get angry at then for having a different opinion?

Just out of curiosity, what would you think if a WxC fan commented on one of your WxM fics and said that they liked your fic, but they weren't a fan of WxM? Would you take it as a backhanded compliment of sorts? Because that happened to me with "Feeling Whole and Wearing the 'Heels of Death'" on FF.net. I thanked the guy for his review, but I didn't feel it was necessary for him to state that he didn't like the pairing. He could've just complimented my work and left it at that. I thanked him for the praise and looked at his profile to see what couple he did ship, and low and behold he was a WxC fan.

*sigh* I'm ashamed to admit I was once a disbeliever of the WxM pairing. Well, not really a disbeliever, I just didn't give a crap. CxC used to be my WITCH OTP, but then it got boring. Then, for a while, before WITCH got into the second season, I was browsing around other fandoms, 'cause I was that bored. *sigh* After the show introduced the new situation with WxM and Shagon (and even the short Altermere!Will bit), I was wondering if there would be any fanfics predicting how it would end. I only found one and soon after, it was deleted for reasons unknown. Which sucks, 'cause it had great potential. Anyhow, I looked around for more but couldn't find any. I was, the least to say, disappointed. That was when I believe I stumbled upon that utter crapshot. Reading it, I was just disgusted. I've skimmed a couple other WxC stories and actually put myself through reading the whole of one of them. It didn't click. I didn't see it. It just didn't seem right.
Ah, that's much alright. XD The both of them would show that guy not to mess with Will. Mmm...I'd probably draw a mini-manga of 'Kar and Shag' in chibi-form, doing the whole "Justice is done!" thing. (God, I steal too many terms from "Othello". XP)

Don't worry, I'm not mad that you didn't care about WxM. XP At least you love them now. It's too bad that fic was deleted. It sucks when you read a fic, enjoy the content/the way that it's written, and then poof, it vanishes. On to the WxC fic, I think I would've been screaming had I read it. I can understand why you felt that way about the fic. It's because of what see in the show. WillxCaleb don't click because of their platonic feelings towards each other and the obvious lack of sexual tension, physical attraction, and emotional connection. I'd probably feel weird after reading a WxC fic and would think it isn't right either, based off of the opinions I've already formed.

XP) And as for that fanfic, I don't see why it was deleted. It had a great premise. Will discovers Matt was turned into Shagon and didn't know that they were actually two separate entities. (Actually, that was the huge speculation at the time, whether Matt and Shagon were the same or if they were different sides of his personality.) She doesn't know what to do and is tricked into allying herself with Nerissa. I think she was being possessed by something, but I'm not quite sure. It was a long time ago, pretty much after M is for Mercy premiered. But I have a feeling it would've been great. Then there was the period where WxM fics were near non-existant and I was scrounging around desperately for good ideas.
